Pre - Process toolbar (activated when ICARE is launched) :
Define the electrical properties of the different media.
Set either the calculation technique for this surface and the electrical properties of this surface.
Assign the radius to the different wire elements.
Assign special properties on wire nodes (short circuits or localized impedances)
Define the analysis frequency range
Define the symmetry planes or/and the ground plane
In case of a reception problem, define the direction of arrival of the plane wave
In case of a reception problem, define the position of the source point
Define directions of arrival and of observation for a Radar Cross Section problem (monostatic or bistatic)
Assign the voltage sources on nodes belonging to wires elements. The source point may equally be located at a connection point
Data for a waveguide section
Define the angles for the far field pattern
Specify the coordinates of near field points of observation
Check the sources, the symmetry planes, the near field and far field points and direction of observations
Create the mesh
Check and create the electromagnetic data : file data.txt
Specify options as a s-matrix calculation for instance
Start the computation
Post - Process toolbar (activated when a computation succeed) :
Display the main output file containing a summary of the computation
Display radiation and RCS patterns
Display 3D results (currents, near field, far field and RCS)
